Dr/Capt. Mike Ruby is truly a jack of all trades. While he is best known as the islands eye doctor, he is arguably the best fly fisherman amongst the four of us. Mike has strategically left a few days available for “paperwork” a week and on those days he can be found floating off the west end on the flats if conditions are correct.

Mike has been fishing Nantucket since 1999. Fortunately for the island community, and unfortunately for his old clients, Mike stopped guiding 8 years ago to focus on is Doctor Business. Luckily for all, Doc, still spends every free moment he can on the water to the behest of his amazing and supportive wife Amy.
